This Warden Message alerts U.S. citizens to the latest information regarding human cases of H1N1 Influenza A, formerly known as swine flu. The Angolan Ministry of Health has reported no cases of H1N1 influenza in Angola.

The Ministry of Health issued a press release advising national health institutions of the need to increase surveillance activities and epidemiological surveillance, including at land and air borders. The Government of Angola is also providing information on prevention and control measures via public communication mediums.
The U.S. Embassy in Luanda will host a Town Hall meeting for all American citizens to discuss this topic on Monday, May 4th at 4:30pm at the U.S. Embassy. Please bring your U.S. passport to the Embassy to enter.
